Las Leyendas Park is a great place for the whole family and a special place for any visitors. Here, you can get acquainted with the three main ecosystems of Peru: Mountain (Sierra), Coast (Costa) & Jungle (Selva). Each area features its flora and fauna. Besides, the park is built around the Maranga archaeological complex, featuring 54 huacas (ceremonial temples) dating to more than 2000 years ago, when the site was under the so called Lima civilization. It takes at least a full day from 9am to 5pm, strolling up and down the path and each area will amaze you. For instance, you can see freely wandering the coatì, the animal that transforms simple coffee beans in the most expensive coffee grains…an huge camping place, food stalls and a plenty of curiosities are waiting for you.
