We are an individual company “Angelo Giammarresi” former World On Communications di Angelo Giammarresi which brand name (also acronym WOC) is still in use in some parts of the site or projects. We realize Interactive Maps and Multimedia Guides to promote tourism and culture.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Usually, we do not use this site to sell any product or require a membership to login, so no personal data are involved with the exception of technical data (cookies) used to collect general visit data (see Cookies section).
Our site is based on WordPress platform which by default does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users.

Comments
Throughout the site comments are disabled but in some pages can be allowed. In this case when visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
By default, WordPress does not include a contact form but we use woocommerce plugin to sell our product here or by a link to our official store that require a form to be filled with some personal data.
The data you provide will be processed for legal and tax purposes. The data will be processed in compliance with the guarantees of confidentiality and the security measures provided for by current legislation, by means of manual, computer and telematic tools strictly related to the purposes of the processing.
Those in charge of the processing and of the management and maintenance of the electronic instruments may find out your personal data. Your data will not be shared with any companies. The personal data you provide are collected by paper and/or computer systems automated at the time of completing the registration form for the following purposes:
(a) Completing the goods delivery process if you bought from our store and a shopping cart is involved. In this case, your transactional data of Credit card or other payment method are not collect by us, because we use PayPal system to handle it. Once the user click onto the proceed to payment button we are automatically cut off from the transaction process.
(b) Direct marketing activities by means of promotional material via e-mail
The data will be stored at the headquarters of the Data Controller, for the period of time defined by law.

We use Slimstat plugin to track visitor general data and Aruba spa is our hosting provider where we are storing the information collected by Slimstat which is already GDPR compliant. So only us are the sole owner of the data collected by this plugin. Also, Slimstat plugin honors the Do Not Track header and it features an option to allow your users to opt out of tracking via a text box displayed.

Your data will not be shared with any companies except in the following cases:

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
